Maria Brink

 Maria Brink (born December 18, 1977) is an American singer and songwriter, best known as the lead singer of the metal group In This Moment. The group released seven studio albums and won four nominations from the Alternative Press Music Awards. Additionally, Brink was named "Rock Goddess of the Year" as well as "Hottest Chick" in Metal in the fifth (2013) and fifth (2015) Annual Loudwire Music Awards. Brink is one of the eleven women from heavy rock who matter to Yell! Revolver Magazine recognized Brink as one of the top 25 Hot Chicks In Hard Rock & Metal in 2012 and Pulse in Albany, New York. When she was just 25 years old when she left for Los Angeles to search for a band. She worked in shops, sang in bars, and performed in cafes. After an audition, she met Chris Howorth in 2004. Howorth was initially wary to sign up Brink as a performer because she was an asian woman. Howorth apologized after two weeks and hired Brink as the singer. They came together as Dying Star together with Jeff Fabb drummer. Then, Blake Bunzel, guitarist as well as Josh Newell, bassist joined the group. The group was later renamed In This Moment.
