Her first performance was when she was six years old when she participated in an acting workshop together with her mom at Henry School, St. Louis. The workshop was also attended by Sean Gunn, the actor who was her childhood friend. She was a student at Pierremont Elementary in Manchester, Missouri and Nerinx Hall High School, which is a Catholic all-girls private Catholic school situated in Webster Groves. [9] She has completed a Bachelor's Degree in Theater with a minor in Journalism from Truman State University.
