Westmore was most well-known for her character Sheridan Crane Lopez Fitzgerald in Passions. The soap opera aired from 1999 until 2008. To fans of Passions, Sheridan is well known for her popular supercouple pairing with Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald which was played by Galen Gering. The two are often called "Shuis" which is a mix of both names. Her appearance was on the episode (season 7, Episode 18: The One with Joey's Award) of Friends. The actress was also a character in the third season of Dexter which ran from 2008 to the end of 2009. Her first appearance was on the ABC the daytime show All My Children, in December 2008.
